About The Position

We are looking for a retail Sales Associate (part-time) to join our CAMP team! You will be responsible for guiding CAMP's families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical experience and want to return! This includes bringing the CAMP brand to life and providing a fully immersive experience for customers of all ages. You will engage in conversations with families about their interests, welcome every guest with a custom greeting, play with and engage families, demo products, work at the crafting or slime bar, customize personal shopping experiences, check families out at the register, achieve sales targets, build a repeat customer base, support a positive work environment, assist in merchandising, communicate store needs, and support the General Manager with goal achievement. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at least one weekend day/week, ideally both.
  • Part-time availability, approximately up to 25 hours/week.
  • Positive attitude in all situations.
  • Passion for selling and working with people.
  • Prior work experience in retail, child-care, child development/education, or performing arts.
  • Excellence and enthusiasm in engaging with children and families creatively.
  • Desire to be part of a team transforming the retail experience.
  • Patience, warmth, joy, and humor.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Guide families through the retail experience and ensure a magical experience.
  • Engage in conversations with families about their interests and introduce relevant items.
  • Welcome every guest with a custom greeting and perform a magic door entrance.
  • Play with and engage families during their journey through the CAMP experience.
  • Demo and play with products.
  • Work at the crafting or slime bar.
  • Customize personal shopping experiences based on family interests.
  • Check families out at the register and inform them about upcoming programs.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs through best-in-class selling experiences.
  • Build a repeat customer base by creating a unique selling culture.
  • Support a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity and teamwork.
  • Assist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor.
  • Communicate customer and store needs to the General Manager and store leadership.
  • Assist with Back of House tasks for efficient store operations.
  • Support the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement.
