About the position
The Sales Associate position in Kill Devil Hills, NC involves selling hard surface flooring and carpeting in a retail environment. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with making the best selection for their flooring projects
- Provide overall customer satisfaction
- Assist with the upkeep of the flooring warehouse
- Unload trucks or load out customers as needed
- Operate forklifts after training
Requirements
- Sales experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Passion for customer service and a desire to grow within the company
- Customer-facing experience in sales, retail, or hospitality
- High School degree, GED, or equivalent
- Interest in home improvement and influencing flooring design choices
- Comfortable with technology, Microsoft Office products, and basic computer skills
- Engaging communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy boxes
- Willingness to learn and operate a forklift
