About the position

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting the management staff in providing quality customer service and promoting merchandise in the store. This role involves engaging with customers, maintaining store operations, and achieving sales targets while upholding company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service as outlined in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales performance.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards as listed in various manuals.
• Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Utilize product knowledge to effectively present merchandise and promote sales.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
• Communicate merchandise needs and operational issues to management.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Protect company assets by ensuring accuracy in internal control procedures.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service.
