About The Position
Mayo Clinic is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at the Mayo Clinic Gift Shop in Rochester, MN. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.93 to $20.69, and is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their careers in retail sales within a prestigious healthcare environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring that their shopping experience is both pleasant and efficient. In this role, you will be responsible for performing retail sales operations, which includes assisting customers with their purchases, operating the point of sales system, stocking and merchandising inventory, and maintaining a well-organized gift shop. You will work closely with the gift shop manager and supervisor to coordinate operations, manage inventory control, and implement marketing and promotional strategies. Your ability to lift and move merchandise is essential, as you will be receiving and organizing all incoming products. This position also involves collaboration with Alumni Relations, further enhancing the community connection of the gift shop.
