About The Position

Amplify is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to partner with our Sales Team. Are you a quick learner and a self-starter who enjoys technology? Are you looking to make a difference by sharing highly effective, outstanding programs with other educators? Are you an experienced presenter or trainer? Do you have a particular love of K-12 curriculum? The ideal candidates will have a passion for supporting schools and the ability to drive educators (at all levels) to make the right decisions regarding learning outcome choices for students and teachers. We are dedicated to providing crucial training before deployment.

Requirements

  • >1 year experience with teaching, school system administration, education market, or other industry supporting the sales function
  • Proficiency in English (verbal & written)
  • Comfortable speaking to the public, and experience delivering presentations or trainings to audiences of 6+ people
  • Ability to lift and carry sample boxes/bags that may weigh up to 30 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Conversational intelligence - the ability to ask good questions and listen actively
  • Previous experience working with literacy, preferably early literacy programs or curricula
  • Experience crafting and delivering short multimedia presentations

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building awareness of the Amplify brand and products in schools
  • Maintain a depth of knowledge of Amplify's solutions - pedagogy, program content, and technical details - that fall into your area of focus and expertise (i.e., mCLASS, Literacy, Math, or Science)
  • Conduct sales meetings with school site personnel to support supplemental campaigns
  • Deliver pre-sales presentations, including but not limited to product demonstrations and sales presentations to County and District personnel
  • Assist Amplify Sales Account Executive with school visits and product drop-offs when deemed safe by state health authorities
  • Deliver pilot trainings as well as support active pilot teachers and leaders through ongoing on-demand support such as answering FAQs, offering 1:1 and small group planning meetings, and visiting with pilot teachers (in-person or remotely) to clarify and strengthen understanding of our solutions
  • Identify new sales opportunities and advance them in collaboration with the team
  • Develop relationships with key school-building decision-makers
  • Provide customer and competitive feedback to Sales Leadership
  • Articulate the Amplify story with potential customers at state and citywide exhibitions, fairs, and other related gatherings, as needed
  • Support the creation of correlations and rubric responses as needed

Benefits

  • Hourly rate range for this role is $25.00-$50.00
  • Hourly travel rate: $20.00 - $25.00
