About The Position

As a Wine Merchant at Wine Rack, you will be part of an organization that inspires every generation to savour the simple joys of life. Wine Rack, with over 160 wine boutiques in Ontario, offers an excellent selection of quality Ontario and International Canadian Blended wines for any occasion, including over 150 different wines, with more than 70 VQA approved, from brands like Jackson-Triggs, Inniskillin, Open, Saintly, and Bodacious. Requirements

19 years of age or older
High School or equivalent education is required
Smart Serve Certification is required
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service
Enthusiastically engage and interact with customers
Perform POS (point of sales transactions) and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment
Meet and exceed shift targets
Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals
