The Sales Associate position at Green Valley Grocery is designed for individuals who are 21 years of age or older and is focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a grocery store environment. The role requires a commitment to providing best-in-class customer satisfaction through various tasks including greeting customers, answering inquiries, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and promoting effective customer relations to optimize sales. As a Sales Associate, you will engage with customers to provide product knowledge and recommendations, assist with food service menu items, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. The role requires effective communication skills in English, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive approach to maintaining high performance and safety standards in the workplace. The position is full-time, with a starting pay of $13.00 per hour, increasing to $13.50 after 90 days and $14.00 after six months, along with industry-leading benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
