About The Position
The Sales Associate at Spirit Halloween will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Management Team during the setup, merchandising, and teardown of a seasonal store. This position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and contributing to a fun and engaging shopping experience. The Sales Associate will be responsible for maintaining guest services in accordance with company standards, ensuring that every customer feels welcomed and valued. This role requires a proactive approach to generating sales and assisting with various store operations, including sign waving, general housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, and operating the point of sale (POS) system. Additionally, the Sales Associate will be involved in loss prevention efforts to protect store assets and maintain a safe shopping environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is comfortable with the physical demands of the job. This includes climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. The role may also require standing or walking for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours a day. As a seasonal position, the Sales Associate will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store during the busy Halloween season.
