Requirements

  • 1-3 years retail experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years golf industry experience preferred.
  • May be required to submit relevant state mandated clearances to supervise minors.

Responsibilities

  • Build golfer relationships and work one-on-one with golfers to ensure a positive club fitting experience.
  • Support the Operations Sales Manager in achieving company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution, and profit and loss controls.
  • Train and certify all club fitters and focus on driving sales in services related areas such as simulator, putting green, Special Orders, Pre-Owned, club fitting and repair programs, accessories, etc.
  • Analyze Golf sales reports and data to understand business results and opportunities and communicate the results to teammates.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, ensuring they are greeted and acknowledged.
  • Monitor sales, customer service, and operational efforts on the selling floor.
  • Act as the point of contact for customers and teammates to provide golf services knowledge.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products, service, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising.
  • Manage store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs.
  • Train teammates on all aspects of services and specialized selling techniques.
  • Ensure department scheduling, workplace, and daily teammate assignments are on task.
  • Communicate information to department teammates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions, services, etc.
  • Assist the store management team with general supervision in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and execute all golf directives.
  • Ensure the store achieves shrinkage goals by partnering with teammates/management.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by management.
