Full-time, year round position responsible for servicing customers in a retail lumber and building materials location. You must have solid customer service skills for counter and store sales, thrive in a fast paced environment, have strong people skills and have a positive team attitude. The right person must be detail oriented with knowledge of lumber and building materials. Previous experience with builders or contractors a plus. Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or sales preferred
- Knowledge of building materials preferred, but not required
- Excellent telephone skills preferred
- Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with builders or contractors a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for waiting on customers in person, on the phone and via email
- Processes orders and quotes for building materials requested by customers
