About The Position

We are looking for a sales route driver. Selling quality professional car care and industrial products. Our customers range from auto parts stores and nationwide automotive dealership chains, to tire repair facilities - and every passionate truck driver, farmer and local vehicle detail business in between. They all depend on professional products, and Fast Lane Auto Care is here to deliver. Have a passion for the automotive industry? Hungry for the sale? Excited to provide customer solutions? Then we have what you are looking for. Currently Seeking a Territory Sales & Delivery Specialist for our Northwest Iowa Sales Territory. The position will be responsible for establishment territory sales targets. The sales representative executes sales functions including forecasting sales, customer interfacing, sales promotions, and deliveries within the territory. This is a commission position with a introductory guaranteed base pay. The position reports to the Director of Automotive Operations and must live in or near the Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota or Southwest Minnesota designated territory.

Requirements

  • Ability to Travel up to 80% with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Load, Transport and deliver items to customer in a safe, timely manner
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Regularly track progress on sales actives as well as execute the initiatives/actions as established by the business manager
  • Selling a minimum dollar of products weekly determined by manager
  • Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
  • Promote positive relations with customers, vendors and distributors.
