About The Position

Sales Associate - Clothing/Footwear Must Have Open Availability Location: West Jordan We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in our Clothing/Footwear department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. Position Overview: Provide an outstanding customer service experience by greeting, assisting with locating merchandise or services, helping with buying decisions, and thanking all customers. Assure all customer needs are met by asking open-ended questions in regard to their activity, project, event, or need. Merchandise the sales floor to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping experience. Live the Smith and Edwards Lifestyle, individuals with extensive knowledge and/or experience in regards to the great outdoors, camping, western lifestyle, etc. will be given preference. Build positive relationships with our customers and community. Ask questions, learn our customers’ names, and be sure all their needs are met. Give each and every customer a personal shopping experience. Support the store management team by meeting sales goals, processing merchandise returns, performing inventory cycle counts, and demonstrating trustworthiness and reliability.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders and incoming shipments.
• Ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and performing all functions as set forth.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Assist customers with fitting and sizing of clothing and footwear
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets
