Job Description – Sales associate Position Summary: The Sales Associate's primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing our customers world class customer service which will support our mission of being "the most helpful hardware stores on the planet!" Yet, outstanding service is not enough, an enthusiastic, positive, supportive, sales focused attitude is essential. Puts "Customers First, Tasks Second."

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Possess product knowledge of hardware related products along with a willingness to learn.
A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders, Sales Associates working in the Lumber or Nursery departments will need to have the ability to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation.
Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
Ascend and descend ladder.
Ability to work at heights.
