About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will promote and sell merchandise displayed on the showroom floor. You will work directly with internal and external customers, following up on customer orders and inquiries, and assisting with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met, ask customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses to better understand their needs, and explain product features in a manner that is easy for customers to understand. You will also prepare sales tickets for orders obtained, assist customers in making product selections based on their specifications, and stay educated on new products, policies, and advertisements the store is running. Excellent customer relations and follow-up with customers via email and phone are essential. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to lift merchandise of 10 lbs.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to listen and respond to customer's needs.
• Effective communication skills with team members.
• Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

• Experience in sales or customer service.
