Sales Assistant - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Sales Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative and phone support to the sales organization by serving as a primary point of contact for inbound prescriber calls, researching and responding to routine access-related inquiries, and ensuring messages and requests are routed to the appropriate internal teams. How you will make an impact: Answer incoming calls from the prescriber phone queue with courtesy and efficiency, assisting callers when able and routing/escalating calls to the appropriate teams as needed. Perform real-time research during calls to provide accurate information related to patient access topics (e.g., benefits verification, prior authorization status, and other routine inquiry types supported by internal tools/processes). Review prescriber voicemails and accurately route messages to the appropriate inside sales representative and/or department based on the nature of the request. Document call details and outcomes and ensure appropriate follow-up is initiated according to established procedures. Occasionally, Support special projects as assigned, which may include basic data entry and administrative support. Types, files, faxes, provides phone support and processes mail. Prepares and logs proposals. Maintains supplies. Researches and resolves routine sales, claims and benefit issues. Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets. Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data. Generates sales reports.
