About The Position

The Production Assistant will provide high-level administrative, streaming, editorial and content creation support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties.

Requirements

Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of newsroom functions
Familiarity with digital editing platforms such as iNews.
Strong social media skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under daily pressure and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
One (1) year of administrative support experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Radio/TV, or related discipline preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting or Radio/TV/Film is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with Digital Content Team to clip elements from linear and streaming programming for social media, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
Create original content for all FOX 29 social platforms, and from time to time, talent social media pages.
Assist Digital Content Team in production of streaming programming.
Liaise with teams and departments throughout the station to successfully execute digital/streaming initiatives.
Manage complex calendars, schedules, and show activities.
Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment issued by FOX.
Comply with all FOX Corporate computer requirements.
Comply with all FOX Corporate and station policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
