About The Position

Summary The Sales Assistant provides sales support to all regions and administration. Assists the Sales Team in meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. Reports to the Manager - Sales Administration. Essential Functions • Provides internal sales support. • Coordinates sales administrative services with the other departments to work toward a common goal. • Develops on-going improvements in sales and sales support. • Provides sales support through administrative services. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 20-25hrs/week. Hours listed are general hours and may be altered as needed. Requirements

  • Must have the inherent ability to problem solve.
  • Must have extensive experience in general office support functions.
  • Must provide accurate data in a timely fashion.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a participative management style and be an advocate of team concept.
  • Must have well developed interpersonal skills and have the ability to promote harmonious relationship with staff, peers and supervisors.
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, Internet & Cellular/Wireless devices.)
  • Microsoft software skills. A minimum proficiency level of intermediate in: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access
  • Self-starter who is resourceful & self-reliant
  • Effective time management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to problem solve and select appropriate response
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions
  • Performs well with varying duties as necessary
  • 1 Year Minimum Experience
  • High school Required Degree
