Requirements

  • Two year Associate’s Degree, preferably in business.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Software and demonstrate capability to learn new software applications.
  • Demonstrated skill in effective communication and the ability to communicate directly with customers.
  • Must be self-motivated, energetic and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service support-
  • Receive Pos from customers and ensure orders are administered as required.
  • Manage the “contract review” process for all received PO to ensure information is accurate and POs are acceptable.
  • Interface with operation to ensure build schedules are received by plant.
  • Resolve issues with schedules directly with customers and plants
  • Provide Direct Sales support as needed-
  • Support with the creation of customer documentation as required. This would include “piece price breakdowns”.
  • Create sales presentations with direction from Managers and Directors.
  • Assist with creating annual forecast through pulling information in from various sources.
  • Work with enterprise software IQMS inputting general sales information.
  • With direction from Sales Department managers and Directors, create tools to improve efficiency within department.
  • Create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets as required.
  • Create documents in Microsoft Word.
  • Create simple Database tool using Access.
  • Develop presentations in Power Point.
  • Map processes using flow chart software such as Visio.
  • Manage TS16949 requirements for the department-
  • Document department procedures and create procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance of quotation metrics and in the reporting of such metrics to the appropriate representatives.
  • Assist department members with simple tasks, mail distribution and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all applicable Procedures and Standard Practice Instructions.
  • Ensure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct.
  • Must follow all safety requirements of job as outlined on the job safety card
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Complete all paperwork associated with the job. Correctly maintain all forms and instruction sheets
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
  • Inform your supervisor about problems that occur
  • May be required to handle hazardous waste by collecting and transferring the waste into proper containers at satellite storage areas or storage areas and assuring that the containers are properly inspected, labeled, and closed as required. Must follow correct instruction for handling hazardous waste and report any deviations to supervisor immediately. Must attend yearly instruction in hazardous waste handling and review of current procedures if job duties could affect non-compliance.
