About The Position

The Sales Application Engineer is responsible for understanding and applying Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and Electrical Equipment (SWBD/SWGR, BESS, Solar, Generator, ATS, etc.) to meet client operational, financial, and technical design requirements. This role involves collaborating with customers and the sales team to select the appropriate hardware, software, and infrastructure for comprehensive solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of design-build construction, encompassing 3-phase power, electrical equipment and materials, field knowledge, industrial and commercial facilities, civil and structural principles, code requirements, and utility coordination. These skills will support ABM's sales department in promoting and developing EVSE and electrical infrastructure systems through design and cost analysis.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of design-build construction.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power and electrical equipment.
• Field knowledge in industrial and commercial facilities.
• Understanding of civil and structural principles.
• Familiarity with code requirements and utility coordination.
