Your day to day as a Sales Application Engineer As a Sales Application Engineer at All World Machinery Supply, you will play a pivotal role in developing comprehensive turnkey manufacturing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing part requirements, specifying appropriate CNC machinery, and conceptualizing innovative automation systems that align with customer production goals. Collaborating closely with internal engineering teams and machine sales specialists, you will craft integrated project proposals that encompass accurate pricing and timelines. Building and maintaining professional relationships with both new and existing customers is critical, as you represent the full range of our capabilities. Additionally, you will work with management to devise territory-specific strategies aimed at exceeding sales targets and enhancing market share. This role requires you to lead the sales process, while also focusing on researching and developing new customers, thereby driving maximum net sales through effective account management and training initiatives. What we're looking for in a Sales Application Engineer To be successful as a Sales Application Engineer at All World Machinery Supply, a robust skill set is essential. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; however, an equivalent combination of education and extensive hands-on manufacturing experience will also be considered. Industry-specific certifications in manufacturing, CNC programming, or automation, while not mandatory, are highly recommended for enhancing expertise. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or machine tool applications is required, with a strong background in CNC machine tool operation and programming. Candidates should have familiarity with automation systems, robotics, and turnkey manufacturing solutions, alongside a solid understanding of workholding, fixturing, and tooling design. Previous experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or manufacturing engineering roles will contribute to your effectiveness in driving customer-focused solutions and project success within this dynamic position.
