As a Sales Application Engineer (Distributed), your role is pivotal in supporting the North American Sales Team (Gas Services New Unit) during the initial stages of project development. This involves delivering product information presentations, suggesting optimal configurations, evaluating plant performance and emissions, and addressing technical queries. As projects progress, your involvement will expand to provide budgetary insights, market cost estimates, comparative analysis, and optimization strategies. This role at times extends to the firm bid phase, contributing detailed competitive and lifecycle analyses, along with project-specific target pricing to support Sales Management's strategic decisions. Additionally, this role encompasses other Sales Operational including understanding the market, W/L reasons, general market forecasting, industry vertical support, and exploring new technology topics like CCUS, H2, SMRs further broadening the role's scope.

  • Support the North American Sales Team during project development.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
  • At least 8 years of experience, with 5 years in the Energy Industry.
  • Understanding of energy-related products and technologies such as Gas Turbines, Combined Cycle, and Cogen plants.
  • Experience with small, medium, and aero derivative gas turbine product lines preferred.
  • Skilled in thermodynamic-based tools such as Thermoflow or equivalent.
  • Understanding of financial and economic models, competitive analysis, and project lifecycle evaluation.
  • Broad knowledge of energy markets and key market drivers.
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable.
