About The Position

As a Sales and Supply Chain Engineer at Micro Precision Group, you will be an integral part of our mission to deliver critical products and solutions to support national defense and security. The successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional sales and engineering team and external partners to ensure the seamless coordination of our sales efforts, supply chain operations, purchasing activities, and contract compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in defense contract compliance, supply chain management, purchasing, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze defense contracts to ensure alignment with company capabilities, methods, requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate with management to address contract-related issues, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with government regulations, including ITAR, DFAR, and FAR.
• Sourcing and procuring materials, components, and services required for defense production.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, and place purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain vendor relationships, including conducting supplier performance evaluations and resolving any issues or disputes.
• Order processing and order entry.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop accurate and timely quotes.
• Provide excellent customer service, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
