About The Position

The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations is a hybrid role designed to serve customers while also performing basic vehicle services. This position acts as a key pipeline for career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care, focusing on customer service, sales, and vehicle service tasks. Successful candidates will learn all aspects of store operations and will have opportunities to flex between customer interaction and service completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid automobile driver's license
• Customer service and career growth mindset
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
• Ability to learn and operate store systems

Nice To Haves

• 2 year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program
• Previous consumer retail sales experience
• Previous automotive experience
• Previous management or supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support, resolving customer issues (75%)
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks (25%)
• Assist in store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display maintenance as needed
• Act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development
• Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks
