The Sales & Service Overnight (SSO) position is a vital role within the Club Operations team at 24 Hour Fitness, dedicated to providing exceptional service to both members and guests during overnight hours. This position is designed to create a welcoming, informative, and enjoyable experience for all who enter the gym. The SSO is responsible for upholding the 24 Hour Fitness Service Commitments, which emphasize maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-maintained gym environment. This role involves regular interaction with guests, assisting them with inquiries about memberships, and engaging in consultative conversations to inspire them to pursue their fitness goals. Additionally, the SSO plays a crucial role in maintaining relationships with existing members, greeting them during check-in, addressing any concerns, and contributing to a member-centric atmosphere. In this position, the SSO will be actively present on the club floor and in locker rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all members. Responsibilities include conducting team cleans, identifying equipment that requires service, and resolving member concerns as they arise. The SSO will also assist in generating quality guest visits and facilitate new member onboarding by helping guests feel comfortable in the club, offering tours, discussing amenities, and answering membership questions. The SSO is expected to present 24 Hour Fitness in a manner that resonates with guests, helping to remove barriers and misconceptions regarding fitness services, and ensuring new members are set up for success by meeting with a Personal Trainer. Furthermore, the SSO will be involved in retail merchandising and promoting in-club offers, maintaining a proficient knowledge of current retail products, and encouraging members to refer guests. This position reports directly to the Sales & Service Manager and requires a strong commitment to customer service and member engagement.
