About The Position

The Sales and Service Manager (SSM) at 24 Hour Fitness is responsible for ensuring an exceptional sales and service experience for all guests and members. This role focuses on hiring and developing a talented team, driving member acquisition and retention, and achieving sales revenue goals. The SSM leads the Sales and Service team to provide tailored solutions and experiences, while also managing performance and engagement within the team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current CPR and AED certification from an approved organization.
• Prior management experience in service sales industry leading 4-10 employees preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in service sales preferred.
• Fitness industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the fitness industry.
• Ability to engage with members in person and respond professionally to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop Sales and Service team members.
• Lead the team to provide tailored product and service offerings to members.
• Model relationship building and support team members in providing exceptional service.
• Implement ongoing training for team members to ensure high service standards.
• Manage overall performance and personnel matters for the Sales and Service team.
• Drive new sales efforts including membership sales and retail offerings.
• Develop business plans and review sales numbers with the General Manager.
• Establish sales goals and coordinate local marketing activities.
• Ensure proper onboarding of new members to help them achieve their health goals.
• Resolve member inquiries and complaints professionally.
