About The Position

Westport Properties (WPI), founded in 1985, is an owner-operator of self storage, multifamily, and industrial properties across the United States. The Company is a fully integrated operator that develops, acquires, and manages its portfolio, as well as providing third-party management services. As of January 2025, WPI has over 17 million square feet of self storage space under management and its total assets under management is over $3 billion with its US Storage Centers brand, as well as over 650 multifamily units, employing over 600 people nationwide. WPI is a founding partner of Kure-It, a non-profit organization that raises money for underfunded cancer research, and Charity Storage, which uses vacant storage units to raise money for local charities. The Sales and Service Manager role involves effectively marketing and selling self-storage solutions, working independently both inside an office and outside on the property, and ensuring general property care, cleaning, and maintenance. The role also includes accurate payment processing, cash handling, and engaging with customers to provide an exceptional experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable form of transportation are required to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Effective 5/7/25 MUST have a Real ID or Passport to travel to San Antonio training center

Nice To Haves

  • Previous retail, restaurant, fast food, hospitality, customer service/sales or self-storage experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Effectively market and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers

  • Daily property walk to confirm spaces are ready to rent
