About The Position

The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams. We are looking for interns who are passionate and committed to kickstarting their career in sales. The Ticket Sales and Service Internship program is designed for college students who want to gain first-hand experience in the front office of a professional sports team. This is your chance to assist the daily operations of the Sales and Service department! This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).

Responsibilities

• How to research and brainstorm new group initiatives, theme nights and more
• How our sales/service department operates and how to market and sell ticket packages
• Produce qualified sales leads through prospecting and research
• The role of customer service, client relations, and fan interaction in a professional sports environment
• Participate in a hybrid setting; projects and trainings will take place both remotely as well as in our office at Sports Illustrated Stadium
