About The Position

Healthy Spaces is seeking a Sales & Relationship Manager to drive business growth and client engagement in the Cedar Rapids area. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role, focused on educating clients about healthy space technology solutions, building long-term relationships, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry to contract signature. Success in this role comes from understanding client needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys sales, client engagement, and helping organizations and homeowners improve their indoor spaces.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales, preferably in technical or solution-based B2B sales
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage the full sales process independently
  • Comfort delivering presentations and technical information to clients
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and proactive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • 2–5 years of sales or business development experience
  • Familiarity with smart building, environmental technology, or related technical products is a plus
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and residential clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on product benefits, ROI, and technical specifications
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations, virtually or in person
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including proposals, quotes, contracts, and negotiation
  • Identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting, networking, and marketing leads
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM software and provide accurate forecasts and reports
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
  • Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and customer support
  • Leverage the Healthy Spaces Experience Center to host clients, showcase products, and promote the brand
  • Participate in local networking and community events to increase awareness and drive leads
