About The Position

Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley (CHPIV) is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community by offering accessible, high-quality, and culturally sensitive healthcare services. We are a local health plan dedicated to making a positive impact through education, outreach, and innovative care. We are seeking dynamic and driven Sales & Marketing Representatives to join our growing outreach team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about community health, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to engage with the Imperial Valley community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred
Active State of California Health Insurance License or willing to obtain one if hired
2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
Eager to learn and grow professionally

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and experience with state and federal insurance programs, preferred
Knowledge of the Imperial Valley community is a plus

Responsibilities

Promote CHPIV health plans and services within the community
Develop and implement local marketing and outreach strategies
Identify and engage potential members at events, health fairs, clinics, and community centers
Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, and follow-up activities
Provide excellent customer service and act as a brand ambassador for CHPIV
