About The Position

Joining Oakwood Village as an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the senior housing related sales and marketing activities of our community. This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.

Requirements

• This internship is open to current Undergraduate or Graduate students.
• Studying Marketing, Real Estate or related field preferred.
• Ability to respond to prospective residents and business partners professionally.
• Requires customer service orientation with empathy.
• High level of attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for events, open houses, and informational sessions.
• Assists in preparing sales materials for tours.
• Shadows the sales team during calls, meetings, and tours.
• Helps plan and execute tours of the community for prospective residents & families.
• Updates and maintains the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
• Follows up with prospective residents or their families via phone or email.
• Analyzes competitor offerings to refine sales strategies as directed.
• Prepares reports on sales activities, lead progress, and outcomes.
• Monitors metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Helps organize outreach and community events aimed at generating leads.
• Supports logistics, setup, and follow-up for events and campaigns.
