Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a heart for service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation precisely
  • Familiarity with enrollment processes or public assistance programs is a plus
  • Adaptability in fast-paced or high-volume situations
  • Basic tech-savvy skills—able to navigate tablets, mobile apps, or web-based platforms
  • Team-oriented mindset with a drive to support shared goals
  • Respectful, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a bonus, especially in diverse communities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a compassionate point of contact for individuals in need of Lifeline services at community-based events and partnered retailers
  • Educate potential customers on program benefits and eligibility requirements while guiding them through a detailed sales and enrollment process
  • Assist with application completion and ensure accurate documentation
  • Verify applicant information and confirm eligibility in compliance with program guidelines
  • Troubleshoot any enrollment issues and provide timely support
  • Maintain organized records and track outreach efforts
  • Represent the organization at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Uphold privacy standards and treat all customer data with care and integrity
