About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join us in a role that blends client relationship management, investment operations, and business development. This position offers the opportunity to support our client base through specialized service efforts, while also contributing to the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities in partnership with sales leaders. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and analytical thinker, capable of navigating critical client relationships and serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years' experience within a sales/client/client operations role in the investment management industry
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Mature, trustworthy, highly resourceful, organized
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Articulate, high energy and success oriented
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data and work across various applications
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Willingness to travel on an occasional basis
  • Series 7 and 63 required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global client base on all daily business activities
  • Lead external client outreach (quarterly/annual meetings, ad hoc requests) as well as facilitate any inbound client requests (cash flows, new account onboarding, account operations), using critical thinking skills and experience to problem solve and provide solutions
  • Deliver high-touch support to existing client base and maintain a strong understanding of client relationships to ensure that a best-in-class client experience is delivered consistently
  • Execute effective internal client service, including thorough meeting preparation (collect current portfolio and market information, presentation materials, meeting agenda), detailed prospect/client research (collect past notes, history, recent news), and coordinate meeting logistics
  • Support aggregate business development activities by triangulating across global distribution channels and regional specialists
  • Work collaboratively across business units at the firm to coordinate responses to prospect requests, including RFPs/RFIs, data requests, and marketing collateral needs
  • Proactively work with Product Specialist to coordinate and prepare for meetings with clients and prospects
  • Maintain CRM system to ensure investor information, opportunity details, historical dialogue, and upcoming tasks or follow ups are tracked clearly and monitored continuously
  • Ensure strong understanding of the team's investment process, strategy and vehicle offerings
  • When needed, provide light prospecting and distribution leads to the team, maintaining a deep understanding of prospects and target institutions
  • Track and analyze competitor activity, product trends and industry publications; maintain strong knowledge of industry activities and new developments

Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
  • Discretionary bonus based on Firm and individual performance
