About The Position

Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia. GPN's brands include Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, Think!, Amazing Grass and more. We are hiring a Sales Analyst due to an internal promotion! The Sales Analyst, Amazon is responsible for supporting Amazon sales and brand growth through various analytical projects, tools, and report development. You will leverage your understanding of Amazon category, competitive, and platform dynamics to make recommendations that drive category growth and GPN's role within it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-7 years of experience, preferably within CPG industry, marketing, or manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce retail basics, traffic and conversion drivers, search, the consumer's path to purchase journey and omnichannel retailer models.
  • Experience with/exposure to: application and consumption of consumer and shopper insights, category data providers, point of sale and transaction data.
  • Strong MS Office Suite - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, graphs, reporting) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor, and report on category, customer, retail, shopper and competitive industry trends, and provide recommendations to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and lead Amazon data strategy. Establish key eCommerce metrics that matter to measure success, identify data tools and service providers, manage vendor relationships, and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop scalable dashboards and data visualizations to streamline analytical processes, enable automation, and support Amazons evolving business needs.
  • Ensure the provision of tools and infrastructure for flexible access to performance tracking across various metrics, including growth, profitability, market share, promotion ROI, and content/digital shelf performance.
  • Own Amazon master catalog and drive accuracy of master data being published into Amazon.
  • Lead Amazon sales reporting on a weekly and monthly basis by identifying key market trends, risks and opportunities across products and categories.
  • Closely monitor KPIs including but not limited to revenue, unit volume, conversion rate, ASP and Buybox.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and data providers (Category data, Vendor Central, internal data sources) to build a holistic view of the category and GPN's performance within it.
  • Build expertise in category trends, growth levers, and competitive dynamics across 1P Retail and 3P marketplace, and deliver actionable insights to guide strategic growth decisions.
  • Conduct performance and financial analysis of media and sales promotional tactics including, but not limited to, event ROI analysis, category share growth, customer acquisition, and customer lifetime value.
  • Understand category growth trends, consider the Amazon profitability model, and make recommendations to the Amazon sales team and internal partners that drives mutual growth.
