About The Position

This position will support the Wakefern Team and provide ad hoc support to the broader Team by providing proactive analysis and insight of business trends, oversight of contracts and forms, monitoring business performance, developing sales presentations, and identifying opportunities and risks impacting the business. This is a developmental role, and successful candidates typically progress to business manager roles thus making business development understanding crucial to success in this role. Candidates should ideally be based in the New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania area.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree is required.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, Circana, and IRI data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Circana, Evergreen, and Customer POS Data.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong relationship building and management skills.
• Skilled negotiator.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analysis and reporting of sales trends, shopper analysis, and competitive activity.
• Create actionable insights from the analysis of sales trends.
• Meet customer deadlines for monthly sales plan submissions and other ad hoc requests.
• Retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources to identify emerging trends.
• Communicate findings and implications of data analysis effectively.
• Develop professional presentations for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with the Customer Business Manager and internal teams.
