About The Position

The Sales Analyst (Mass Retail) at The Toro Company is responsible for managing sales operations in collaboration with key stakeholders across retail accounts and the residential mass business. This role focuses on retail and shipment forecasting, order management, and business intelligence analytics reporting for both retail and e-commerce channels. The Sales Analyst will recommend and implement strategies to enhance supply compliance, demand fulfillment, and inventory management to support the company's financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, math, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret retail data and trends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-initiative and independent decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems preferred.
  • Experience with MS PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau, or similar programs strongly preferred.
  • Sales operations or supply chain background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary team member partnering with inventory planning teams to execute inventory and order fulfillment targets for retail stores and e-commerce.
  • Ensure compliance of Toro supply chain functions with customer requirements and alignment of purchase orders with product availability.
  • Lead compliance violation disputes and resolution processes for assigned accounts.
  • Load and maintain accurate data in operating systems to facilitate on-time product deliveries.
  • Create and distribute analytics reports to stakeholders, including retail actuals vs. plan and out-of-stock levels.
  • Participate in the demand forecast process to ensure shipment and retail volume flows meet financial objectives.
  • Provide insights on retail sales forecasts by product category and recommend updates as necessary.
  • Recommend order configurations based on sales and inventory data to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Travel up to 10% to partner with inventory planning teams and facilitate sales operations execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
