About The Position

Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that encourages repeat customers. The role involves putting oneself in the customer's shoes to create unique and memorable experiences through personalized product recommendations and expertise. For Sales Ambassadors, the role extends beyond selling products to making a positive impact on the world.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals, taking ownership of results and actively working to grow contribution to the store’s overall sales.
  • Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience by connecting with customers, identifying their needs through attentive listening and open-ended questions, and demonstrating product benefits and features.
  • Educate customers on Lush's brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging, and articulate these values in the shop and through community engagement.
  • Continually expand product knowledge on Lush products, ingredients, and unique benefits to confidently and consistently make informed product recommendations.
  • Utilize Lush resources to develop effective sales techniques and product knowledge, taking ownership of personal development, assessing performance, and actively seeking feedback and opportunities for improvement.
  • Encourage open communication and actively listen to team members’ perspectives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), fostering a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork and recognizing unique contributions.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and present at work, actively participating in teamwork, prioritizing wellbeing by taking breaks, and staying up-to-date with company news.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer's shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Utilize Visual Merchandising guidelines to make real-time adjustments to product displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure company standards are practiced for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
