About The Position
SEASONAL POSITION Join us at Sesame Place and help bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to people from around the world. We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors. Come and play an important part on our incredible team today! All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Please ensure you are available to attend an in-person interview at the date and time you select, as exceptions cannot be made to this requirement. What you get to do: As a Sales Ambassador, you’ll deliver exceptional guest service while providing guests with product information and upselling when appropriate. Your “bottom line” will be to ensure guests have a shopping experience that meets and exceeds their expectations. You will:
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to accurately handle cash and learn/use point of sale system
- Flexibility, dependability and integrity
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with guests
- Answer questions and resolve guest issues
- Assist guests with product information
- Focus on up-selling and increasing sales
- Operate cash register
- Ensure merchandise is properly and accurately price marked
- Take regular and special inventory counts
- Minimize losses due to damage or theft
- Perform stock duties and maintain merchandise counters and displays
- Keep all assigned areas clean
