About The Position

At SeaWorld, we're passionate about caring for animals, having rescued over 40,000. We invite enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to join our team as Ambassadors to help bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to guests. This is a seasonal position. Please note that J-1 Visa students are not accepted, and visa sponsorship is not provided. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Candidates must be available to attend an in-person interview at the date and time selected, as exceptions cannot be made.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Comfortable working in a physically active role that involves continuous movement, stairs, and crowd interaction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays up to 40 pounds while walking through the park and the stadiums.
• Must be able to add and subtract quickly, and count back correct change without the aid of a register or calculator.
• Able to work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions (e.g., direct sunlight, wet, humid conditions, etc.).
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
• Must be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, including opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Seasonal Ambassadors must have at least 5 days of unrestricted availability (12 continuous hours within the operating hours for the area), including both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise to guests at stadiums throughout the park.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for long periods, including working outdoors in varying weather conditions such as heat and direct sun exposure.
• Sell glow merchandise in various areas of the park during summer nights.
• Stock trays and sell merchandise to guests in a stadium setting.
• Call out (bark) merchandise while walking up and down stadium stairs and ramps.
• Assist other locations throughout the park as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
