Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
  • One year of retail sales or customer service experience
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, basic computer skills, troubleshooting, Point-of-Sale systems, and cash handling

Nice To Haves

  • Wireless sales experience (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Cricket, etc.) is preferred but not required
  • Management experience is preferred for moving further into store management/ownership

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service, greeting customers in a friendly and timely manner, and creating a positive work environment
  • Be knowledgeable and proactive in learning new promotions, price changes, and policy updates
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks, including filing paperwork and forms, and communicating with management to resolve issues
  • Maintain store cleanliness, stock accessories, and keep displays current and compliant with corporate standards
  • Utilize time management skills, ensuring the store is ready to open on time, closing it properly, and securing all sensitive items
  • Act as a passionate customer advocate, connecting and engaging with customers
  • Contribute to the Cricket store team
  • Demonstrate competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Collaborate with peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices, while serving customers and resolving issues
  • Effectively balance customer experience and performance goals
  • Sell no-contract wireless phones, service plans, and accessories in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver outstanding service to retain and gain customers
  • Participate in outside sales events or promotions
  • Work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays at various locations
