About The Position

Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, has immediate openings to join our growing company as a member of our Operations Team. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for Sales Administrator to join our Sales Team. This position is regularly scheduled for Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
  • Thinks critically, independently, and analytically
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, operational, and financial data to support business decisions
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision to solve complex problems
  • Computer proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel pivot tables, etc.) preferred
  • Self-directed, flexible, and able to work independently
  • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and handle competing deadlines in a professional and efficient manner
  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group
  • High aptitude for learning new software and understanding new technologies
  • Detail-oriented with ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large datasets
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Aptitude to learn new computer programs (AS400, Power BI, etc.)
  • High School Diploma required

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (degree in business, analytics, finance, or related field a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
  • Work with customers to plan and set performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive key account relationship
  • Meet strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate account sales, marketing, and technology needs on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader
  • Analyze account sales data and trends to support strategic planning and forecasting
  • Prepare and deliver reports to Sales Leadership summarizing key performance metrics, forecast variances, and recommendations for improvement
  • Support the sales team with data-driven insights to help guide decisions for product launches, program adjustments, and inventory planning
  • Work directly with customers’ internal staff in product set-up, ship dates, samples, etc.
  • Sampling for pre/post-meetings, testing, buyer approval, etc.
  • New product setups: Spec sheet set-up in our system UPC / I2of5 / Label identification, creation, and approval Packaging set-up and approval Request images (product, retail ready, labels, etc.)
  • Communicate program ship dates and volumes
  • Customer program forecasting with sales team
  • Customer program discontinue dates
  • Serve as internal point of contact on customer product assortment, pricing, and promotions
  • Evaluate processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
