About The Position

What you will do: Assists the branch sales and sales managers to ensure consistent and timely responses to our customer's needs. Work with operations teams and sales teams to expedite the contract booking process. Support the sales team's administrative needs to facilitate quality customer interaction. Work involves problem solving skills, working independently, and exercising judgment to accomplish most tasks, as well as teaming with the administrative employees providing a wide range of support and work coordination to a variety of functions and processes. How you will do it: Open Globe (Salesforce): Assist Sales Managers in maintaining the integrity of the CRM database including forecast reports, hit-list reports, opportunity reports, opportunity re-assignments, maintenance, etc. Contract Accounting: Support the Contract Booking Process for the branch with respect to customer maintenance and account creation. Support sales management in conversion on Letters of Intent to final contract. Assist sales in maintaining and securing bid and performance Bonds, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and order legal paperwork and forms to aid in finalization of contract award. Responsible for managing contract pre-entries and file maintenance. Sales Support: Aid in the preparation of customer proposals. Maintain branch resume database for use in proposals. Assist in preparation of PowerPoint presentations, letters, spreadsheets, and miscellaneous projects. Support branch admin in ensuring current stock of sales supplies and brochures. General Support: Provide customer support in sales absence. Take/forward message to sales personnel as requested by customers. Support sales and sales management in coordinate sales meetings, trade shows, customer events, etc. Ability to represent Johnson Controls at industry events, association meetings, etc. Interacts with regional sales leadership in coordination of sales/customer training events. You will also be assigned general office administration duties: ordering of supplies, answering phones and any other tasks as directed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma is required with 4 years of related experience.
  • Associate degree with 1-year minimum experience or a bachelor’s degree or with experience in the sales support, operations support, customer service support role in contracting or technical industry preferred.
  • Computer skills to include Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Webservices and Desktop Publishing.
  • Ability to work independently.
