About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Sales Administrator to join our team at a local manufacturing company. This is an in-office position that focuses on providing exceptional service to our customers. The role involves supporting the outside sales team by generating quotes, processing, and reviewing orders.

Requirements

Customer service

Administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in administrative roles
Excellent verbal communication, writing, and telephone manner
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent 2+ years of related experience preferred
Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

Generate quotes and process, review, and edit customer orders.
Manage customer relations, including lead times, expectations, and perceptions.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve problems and ensure appropriate service is provided.
Educate account and business partners about products for assigned accounts.
Cultivate strong working relationships with assigned accounts and business partners.
Proactively work with existing customers to identify new opportunities within other segments of the account.
Prepare and create reports using Excel.
