Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience required
  • 3 years' experience in a sales support or administrative role required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel required
  • Proficiency in CRM databases (NetSuite a plus)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to assume responsibility and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Proven administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage workload and effectively prioritize work

Responsibilities

  • Receive visitors including maintaining logs and notifying appropriate personnel
  • Answer incoming calls in a timely professional manner and direct calls to appropriate parties
  • Keep reception area neat and professional at all times
  • Maintain conference rooms
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, as well as assist with outgoing mail
  • Compile and generate sales reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide insights to the sales team
  • Follow up on leads generated by the sales team and marketing campaigns
  • Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with lead information, status
  • Assist in qualifying leads and setting up appointments for the sales team
  • Ensure all promotional materials and product samples are prepared and available for events
  • Maintain records in CRM and other documentation systems; ensure data integrity
  • Assist in organizing sales events such as tradeshows and internal sales meetings
  • Assist in inspecting performing incoming and/or inventory inspection and assemblies as needed
  • Help coordinate workshop programs
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and restock / re-order as necessary
