About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant to join our team. The role involves reviewing electrical drawings to perform take-offs for lighting fixtures, ensuring timely order entry and processing, and maintaining communication with contractors regarding order status. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and be adept at using Bluebeam software, Excel, and PDF manipulation.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry and order entry.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PDF manipulation.
  • Experience with administrative support and customer support.
  • Comfortable speaking with general contractors.
  • High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical drawings to count lighting fixtures for projects.
  • Ensure orders are entered and processed in a timely manner.
  • Look up existing orders to check backorder status.
  • Maintain communication with contractors, advising them on the status of existing orders.
  • Create lighting submittals to be sent to contractors for approvals.
  • Review approved lighting submittals to ensure orders meet client expectations.
  • Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding stock status and shipping dates.
