The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing customer relationships while driving sales growth within their designated territory. This role involves executing sales plans, managing product displays, and ensuring proper inventory levels to maximize product freshness and minimize issues related to stock and breakage. The position requires regular sales calls and effective communication with customers to secure trade support and coordinate promotional materials.

  • Maintain relationships with customers while increasing business by selling and ordering products.
  • Execute and close all sales calls for assigned routes.
  • Plan and conduct regular sales calls to assess product rotation and maximize freshness.
  • Manage accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock and out-of-code issues.
  • Ensure proper pricing and timely execution of sales plans.
  • Sell incremental displays and coordinate the use of point-of-sale materials.
  • Manage product breakage returns and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 2 years of related experience, or High School Diploma and 3 to 4 years of specific experience.
  • Ability to lift products regularly from 25 pounds to 50 pounds, and up to 170 pounds occasionally.
  • Reliable automobile transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage.
