The position involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships with OEM customers and potentially distributor accounts while meeting position objectives. The role ensures that products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing opportunities on an account-by-account basis to achieve optimum sales and margin results. The candidate will develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages, and benefits, while keeping up with internal and external training and development. Responsibilities also include obtaining specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major accounts, and/or distributors assigned to develop increased sales opportunities and margins. The candidate will need to maintain knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace, providing regular reports to management about changes that could affect product distribution. Additionally, the role involves assisting divisions in planning strategies to provide the necessary products and services for assigned accounts, actively supporting cross-divisional and other group products with proper referrals, and providing product training at distributor and customer levels, while motivating and directing sales efforts to distributors.

  • Assist divisions in planning strategies to provide necessary products and services for assigned accounts.

  • Motivate and provide sales direction to distributors.
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • 3+ years of Sales and/or Applications Engineering experience.
  • Experience in Direct and/or Distributor sales.
  • Experience in selling Automation products such as Controllers, PLCs, Motors, Actuators, Cylinders, Drives, Sensors, Regulators, and/or Robotics.
  • Ability to serve general Industrial clients including Mobile EV, Life Science, Semiconductor, Warehouse, etc.
  • Ability to work from a home office and travel as needed.
