This is why we are seeking a driven, curious, relentless, and relationship-focused problem-solver to join our team as a Sales Account Manager in our Charlotte, NC location. Our Sales Account Managers are responsible for growing our business with new and existing customers. They match customer needs with our broad product portfolio, supported by our digital tools, network of technical experts, specialized market expertise, and global distribution network.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Prior experience in water treatment or chemical industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management and bidding processes is highly desirable.
  • Self-directed and focused on outcomes, with the ability to take initiative and act decisively.
  • Good listener with a passion for learning about customers' needs and solving problems.
  • Ability to conduct effective sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals.
  • A bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with our customers by managing and growing accounts.
  • Drive profitable sales growth within your assigned territory by calling on customers in the Water Treatment industry, with a focus on Municipal Water.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to our customers.
  • Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory.
  • Win back lost customers.
