The intern will support the St. Louis Commercial Market team with a focus on sales readiness, account management support, and market operations , while helping continue the St. Louis Commercial market launch efforts into scalable, repeatable tools for future growth. This role is intentionally designed as a developmental pipeline opportunity for future Sales and Account Management talent , while also contributing value across adjacent functions (short-term automation opportunity, market strategy, marketing coordination, and operational readiness). Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Strong communication, organization, and curiosity are more important than prior healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Support organization, automation and refinement of market specific sales and account management onboarding materials
  • Shadow the sales team to observe prospecting, client meetings, and account management activities; capture learnings to inform onboarding and sales readiness materials
  • Assist with automating & documenting common broker workflows
  • Assess cross functional coordination workflows between sales, marketing, operations, and network teams. Identify efficiencies within existing tools
  • Identify additional manual, repetitive, or error prone processes impacting sales, account management, or market readiness
  • Document current state workflows and propose automation or standardization opportunities
