About The Position

Candidates for this job MUST be located in the Austin, TX area A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Account Manager for MKS Atotech involves staying connected with customers, checking in on their needs, and ensuring they're supported throughout ongoing projects. You will coordinate with internal teams to keep information flowing smoothly and make sure customer priorities are understood and addressed. Much of the day is spent planning, organizing, and building strong relationships to support long-term business growth. In this role, you will report to the Director, Electronics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Service Engineering or similar role
  • Experience in PCB, PWB or Advanced Packaging chemical process engineering industries or similar technical discipline
  • Ability to take and follow directions and instructions.
  • Ability to interact with other employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, or the public, in a safe, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Access to sensitive and confidential business systems and software, personally identifying information, the company’s financial information, and/or the ability to maintain physical security and safety.
  • Because this position involves the above material job duties, trustworthiness, reliability, and good judgment also are material job duties.
  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to, and maintaining relationships with, a small number of named accounts which are of significant importance to the company
  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company
  • Calls on accounts, provides product information and/or presents demonstrations of how the product/service will meet the clients’ needs
  • Provides appropriate prices and typically closes the sale
  • Typically responsible for acquiring, expanding and retaining names accounts and ensuring that ongoing customer service is provided
  • Organize, participate, or perform training and/or troubleshooting of company's products in the customers production environment
