About The Position

Verisk‘s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time (40 hours/ week) paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2026. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near your assigned office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week. We are hiring in the following U.S. locations: Boston, MA and Jersey City, NJ.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program.
• Possess an analytical mindset, passion for business, and a desire to innovate.
• A history of tackling projects with a quantitative lens, and a desire for data-driven insights.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Risk Management & Insurance majors.
• Interest or past experience in insurance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze relevant data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs and industry dynamics.
• Contribute to the creation of innovative programs or projects that drive customer value.
• Inventory and assess existing Artificial Intelligence capabilities along with new market assets to provide a go-forward recommendation for how we should leverage AI as a competitive differentiator for our sales organization.
• Support the sales teams in curating and delivering marketing and sales support materials related to our catastrophe risk management solutions to clients and prospects via technology platforms such as Highspot, as well as conventional distribution methods such as emails.
• Perform market analysis to help identify target prospects.
